According to the Minister of Finance Regulation (PMK) Number 34 Year 2017, it is stipulated that the purchase of gold bars will be subject to PPh 22 at a rate of 0.9 percent.
If you want to get a lower tax discount, which is 0.25 percent, according to PMK Number 38 Year 2023 regulations, include the Taxpayer Identification Number (NPWP) every time you make a transaction.
Every purchase of gold bars will be accompanied by a PPh 22 withholding tax certificate.
