Derana NTT The government has given good news to civil servant (ASN) retirees. Starting August 1, 2025, the pension of Civil Servants (PNS) will officially increase by 12%, as stipulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 8 of 2024.
This policy applies to all groups, from Group I to Group IV, and is directly distributed through PT Taspen (Persero).
Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati has approved this regulation as part of the government's efforts to improve the long-term welfare of retirees, who have dedicated their lives to the country.

Additional Allowances: From Food to Social Welfare
In addition to the basic salary, retired civil servants also receive various forms of additional allowances, including:
- Food allowance equivalent to 10 kg of rice (approximately Rp72,420 per person).
- Health benefits to support medical services for retirees and their spouses.
- Social welfare benefits, as a form of government support for the economic conditions of retirees.
Digital Authentication Through Trusted Applications by Taspen
Starting July 2025, PT Taspen will launch a digital authentication system through the Andal by Taspen application, allowing retirees to verify themselves independently from home.
The verification process is quite easy:

- Upload KTP and personal data
This step aims to ensure that pension benefits are only received by legitimate recipients, while also reducing queues and administrative burdens.
Important: If authentication is not carried out for three consecutive months, the payment of pension salary will be temporarily suspended until the verification process is re-performed.
Salary Disbursement Process via Bank and Official Taspen Partners
Pension disbursement is carried out on the 1st to 3rd of each month, through the official partner bank of PT Taspen, among others:
- Bank Himbara (BNI, BRI, BTN, Mandiri)
- Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI)
- PT Pos Indonesia
PT Taspen also emphasized that until early August 2025, there has been no new government regulation regarding salary adjustments outside the provisions of Government Regulation No. 8/2024. All disbursements still follow official government regulations.
