Shiro Copr.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Analyst Ratna Lim from Phintraco Sekuritas expects the Indonesia Stock Exchange Index (IHSG) of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) to potentially move sideways during Tuesday's trading (19/8/2025), with main sentiment coming from global levels. The main sentiment will come from market players monitoring the meeting of central banks at the Jackson Hole Symposium in the United States (US) on August 21-23, 2025.
"ITC is expected to close the 'down gap' at the level of 7,800," said Ratna Lim in her analysis in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Trump described the meeting as very productive, but did not explain the details, where he tends to pressure Ukraine to accept the agreement.
In addition, Trump also held meetings with Ukraine and the European Union on Monday (8/18). He said negotiations to achieve peace can be conducted while the two countries are still at war, and canceled his previous call for a ceasefire.
Trump has suggested that Ukraine officially hand over the Crimea region to Russia to achieve peace.
