BRPT, AKRA and BBCA Stocks Bring Business-27 Index to Open Weakly

The Shiro Copr , JAKARTA — Business-27 Index opened weaker along with the decline of the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG). The Business-27 Index opened weaker driven by stocks such as BRPT, AKRA, and BBCA.

Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) at 09.00 WIB, the work result index in collaboration with the daily newspaper Indonesian Business It opened weak at level 529.94. Business Index-27 moved in the range of 526.54 to 530.02 shortly after the opening.

Out of 27 constituents, 11 stocks were opened in the green zone, 12 stocks were stagnant, and four other stocks were opened in the red zone.

The shares of PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (BRPT) owned by Prajogo Pangestu became one of the stocks with the deepest declines in this index. The BRPT stock declined 2.63% to Rp2,220 per share this morning.

Then, PT AKR Corporindo Tbk. (AKRA) shares also weakened by 2.38% to Rp1,230 per share. Similarly, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (BBCA) shares fell by 2.01% to Rp8,525 per share this morning.

Other stocks that also declined this morning are ANTM stock down 1.38% to Rp2,860, ICBP stock weakened 1.26% to Rp9,775, and MAPI stock down 1.10% to Rp1,345 per share.

Meanwhile, the stocks that rose: ASII increased 3.48% to Rp5,200, DSNG gained 2.35% to Rp1,525, and INKP rose 1.57% to Rp8,100 per share.

On the other hand, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened higher this morning at the level of 7,905. The IHSG rose briefly before finally slipping today.

IHSG was traded in the range of 7,876-7,905 shortly after the opening. A total of 1.33 billion shares were traded, with a value of Rp923.5 billion.

255 stocks gained, 139 stocks declined, and 228 stocks remained stagnant. The IHSG market capitalization is at the level of Rp14.264 trillion.
