The Shiro Copr, CIREBON- The enthusiasm of the residents towards the food event "Cirebon Rasa Bangkok" remains high, even though the event will end in two days.

The Viral Indonesian Food Roadshow, held since July 10, 2025, in the western parking lot of a mall on Jalan Tentara Pelajar, Cirebon City, succeeded in attracting the attention of residents of Cirebon and surrounding areas.

As many as 250 food tenants from various regions participated in the event, which is called the largest food fair in Indonesia.

Not only local snacks, various Thai specialties such as som tam (green mango salad) and longan ice are the main attractions for visitors.

On Thursday (7/17/2025) night, long queues were seen at several Thai food tenants.

One of them is felt by Uswatun Khasanah (30), a resident of Majalengka Regency, who came all the way to taste the delicacies of the White Elephant Country.

Come here to buy Thai snacks. I bought longan ice, som tam.

"Yes, the new reason to come here, because recently it was full, until there was no parking space," said Uswatun to Tribun, Thursday (17/7/2025) night.

Maybe because I really want to know, including me wanting to know what the traditional Thai snacks are like. It turned out to be delicious.

"Hopefully there will be a longer event again, because it can increase the number of tourists," he hopes.

Although offering international-flavored menus, all tenants in the Viral Indonesia Culinary Roadshow are local business actors.

All involved tenants are creative Indonesian UMKM.

"Although some menus have a foreign style, such as Thai, all the entrepreneurs and operators are Indonesian citizens," said Dwi Nugraha Setiawan, Director of PT Gita Sejahtera Maju, the organizer.

Dwi added, in just four days of preparation, their party managed to bring hundreds of food vendors to one location.

It is also the greatest achievement in the history of the event's implementation in Cirebon City.

"Already we have passed 10 cities and together with the tenants, we have become one of the largest in organizing national culinary events," he said.

Support for this event also came from Grage Mall as the host.

Bamunas S Boediman, Deputy CEO Grage Group, welcomed the presence of this national-scale food event positively.

We are happy and proud to be able to present something new.

"Not only prioritizing comfort, but also bringing an attractive and unique culinary experience for the entire community," he explained.

"We are committed to introducing various event innovations and facilities for the comfort and satisfaction of Grage Mall visitors," continued Bamunas.

More than just a culinary tour, this event is also part of the celebrations for the 598th anniversary of Cirebon City.

The head of the celebration committee, Iing Daiman, even called it a special gift for the residents.

I have been calling this event a special gift for the people of Cirebon since yesterday.

"We greatly appreciate the organizers for presenting this extraordinary culinary event," said Iing.

May the next two days before the end of this event be even more lively, with many visitors and success.

"I also invite all the residents of Cirebon City and surrounding areas to come and enjoy the various cuisines offered," he invited.

Event "Cirebon Rasa Bangkok" will end on Saturday, July 20, 2025.

For those who haven't had the chance to come yet, there is still time to experience the taste of Thai cuisine and local snacks in the lively atmosphere of Cirebon's night.
