The Shiro Copr - BRNO - If Marc Marquez Missing three MotoGP 2025 races in the second half, his points in the standings are still safe, leading the championship.
Two wins in the Czech MotoGP, namely in the sprint (12 points) and race/grand prix (25 points), have made Marc accumulate 381 points in 2025 MotoGP Standings .
His closest rival, his brother Alex Marquez, is 120 points behind.
"This victory reflects the hard work of the team in the first half of the season. We made a good step in terms of setup, not about parts. The setup makes me comfortable," said Marc Marquez to MotoGP journalists after the race at the Automotodrom Brno, Sunday (20/7) night WIB."It's also this comfort that allows me to perform well, at least like in the last five races," he added.
In the last five series, namely the Czech MotoGP, German MotoGP, Dutch MotoGP, Italian MotoGP, and Aragon MotoGP, Marc Marquez always won, in both the sprint and the grand prix.
"Very good momentum before the break," he said.
MotoGP 2025 is currently in the mid-season break. The next series will take place in Austria on August 15-17."I hope there is no break, but the vacation is also good for the body," said Marc Marquez .
"This is one of the best first halves of the season in my career. Of course, 2014 was more perfect, but this time there's a sprint (since 2023). All of this has caused a lot of fatigue over the weekend. It was difficult, so I'm very happy with the mid-season results," he added. (jpnn/mgp)
