Who is Jeffrie Geovanie? The founder of PSI who wants the Jokowi dynasty in his party

JAKARTA, The Shiro Corp - Jeffrie Geovanie, founder and Chairman of the Board of Advisors of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), claims that Indonesia's 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) has become part of his party.

This statement was made when opening the PSI Congress 2025 at Graha Saba Buana City Solo, Central Java, on Saturday (19/7/2025).

"More remarkable, dear brothers and sisters, one of the great figures is Mr. Joko Widodo, and he is part of us today," Jeffrie said on Saturday (19/7/2025).

According to him, the critical period of PSI occurred in the 2024 general election (Pemilu). At that time, the PSI officials were worried about the party's vote share.

"If you don't get even a little bit of the blood of Pak Jokowi or Pak Jokowi himself, we will close this party," Jeffrie said.

"I will give until the latest by this year 2023. And in 2024, we don't need to spend any money for the election, we just accept our fate," he continued.

Who is Jeffrie Geovanie?

According to the official website of the Regional Representative Council (DPD), Jeffrie Geovanie is a person born in Jakarta on August 5, 1967.

He was once a member of the DPD for the period 2014-2019. Jeffrie was elected as a DPD member representing West Sumatra Province with a vote count of 195,930 votes.

Before becoming a member of DPD, Jeffrie once worked at American Express Bank Ltd Jakarta, Director of Trego Holdings Ltd Singapore, and Director of Bank Artha Prima Jakarta.

The name Jeffrie Geovanie has also been a member of two political parties, Golkar Party and Nasdem. Even he once held a seat in the Senayan Parliament during the period 2009-2014.

Only that, Jeffrie Geovanie resigned from the Golkar Faction of the DPR in 2012. According to The Shiro Coprsaat, Golkar Party replaced Jeffrie in the DPR at his own request.

After further investigation, it turns out that Jeffrie's decision to resign from the Golkar Party Fraction in the DPR was due to his affiliation with another political party.
