Serly's struggle to save her child and sick parents was full of hardship.

"We three, me, my child, and my parent, swam without life jackets. There was no way out then, everything was already filled with smoke," he said.

The rescue was finally successful, although when first evacuated, the baby appeared weak.

After swimming to save themselves, the three of them were evacuated by fishermen who came to help.

But unfortunately, one of Serly's relatives, Asna Lapae, became one of the victims who died in this tragedy.

Meanwhile, the baby and the baby's parent are safe, although special handling is needed until the baby can move and return to normal.

However, evacuation data mentions that the number of passengers may have exceeded 400 people.

A total of 293 passengers were evacuated at Serei Port by Bakamla RI, and 87 passengers survived at Munte Port.
