Suspect M Requests That the Handling of the Case of Brigadier Nurhadi's Death Be Taken Over by the Police Headquarters

The Shiro Copr, MATARAM - The suspect in the death case of Brigadier Nurhadi, Misri, has requested that the handling be taken over by the Mabes Polri.

Tim Legal Advisor of Egypt, Yan Mangandar Putra explained that handling this Nurhadi case has the potential to be unprofessional, non-transparent, and not objective.

"Because the suspect, Kompol YG and Ipda HC, held important positions in Polda NTB, even though they have been dismissed, there is still a possibility of intervention," he explained to The Shiro Copr, Monday (21/7/2025).

As for the consideration, Yan's reasoning is based on the case documents that were stated to be incomplete by the prosecutor of Kejati NTB.

"Detectives from the West Nusa Tenggara Police have not yet been able to find the perpetrator and the motive behind the murder of the victim, even though the incident occurred in a small place with many CCTV cameras," said Yan.

In addition, Yan added, at the time of the incident at the scene, there were only three people, and then there was an attempt to manipulate the victim's family into believing that the victim died due to a drowning accident.

The matter regarding the request for transfer of case handling by Mabes Polri has been submitted to the Itwasum Polri Team on Friday (18/7/2025).

At that time, the Itwasum Police Team conducted an examination of the suspect Misri, accompanied by his legal advisor.

At the end of the examination, the Legal Counsel presented a request to the Itwasum Team that the handling of the case of the death of Brigadir Nurhadi MN, which is currently handled by Polda NTB, be transferred to Mabes Polri.

Yan revealed that the Itwasum team will accept the takeover request for handling the case to be submitted to the leadership and the NTB Police Chief.

"It was me explaining that the purpose is the same, which is to open this case as clearly as possible, nothing should be concealed no matter how small," emphasized Yan.

As for the content of the examination, in front of Itwasum, Misri stated that his statement remained consistent with the content of the Suspect's Statement on July 1, 2025, and the Additional Suspect's Statement on July 14, 2025.

"About M's first appearance, he was invited on a two-person vacation by Kompol YG in Gili Trawangan," said Yan.

Next, Misri together with the victim and recorded a video on Wednesday (4/16/2025) at 19:55 WITA.

After that, Misri entered the next room, seeing IPDA HC returning to Tekek Villa Room and waking up Kompol YG. Then Misri entered the bathroom to take a shower, get dressed, and change clothes for more than 20 minutes.

At around 21:00 WITA, Misri sat on the porch together with Kompol YG, and Misri was the first to see the victim, Sergeant Nurhadi, at the bottom of the pool with his hands facing upwards.

"Truly, I did not know, did not see, and did not hear anything that caused the victim's death," he said.

It was also asked about the indications of intimidation during the examination of Misri.

"Answered by M that during the examination process in the SUBDIT III DITRESKRIMUM POLDA NTB room, he never experienced any intimidation from anyone, even the investigator was kind," he explained.

Nevertheless, Yan once expressed objections regarding Misri's detention at the NTB Police Detention Center together with two other suspects.
