NASIB Satria Kumbara, Former Marine Soldier Who Became a Russian Mercenary Soldier, Says the Name Prabowo

The Shiro Copr The name Satria Kumbara suddenly went viral on social media. It is known that a former Navy Marine of the Indonesian Navy (AL), full name Satria Arta Kumbara, who joined the Russian mercenary forces, suddenly expressed his desire to return to Indonesia.

The desire was expressed by Satria in his latest post on the Tiktok account @zstorm689, Sunday (20/7/2025).

Satria himself is still at the front line of the battle, in Ukraine.

Starting his post, after greeting, Satria greeted President Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Foreign Minister Sugiono.

Satria expressed his apology for his ignorance in signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, which resulted in his citizenship status as an Indonesian citizen being revoked.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, esteemed President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Mr. Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sugiono,

"Please allow me, Sir. I would like to sincerely apologize if my ignorance in signing a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense has resulted in the revocation of my citizenship," said Satria.

This former Marine emphasized that he never once thought of betraying the country.

He came to Russia as a mercenary just to make a living.

Please permit me, sir, I have never betrayed the country at all,

"Because I came here (Russia) just to seek a living. Wakafa Billahi, sufficient is Allah as a witness," said Satria.

"I am leaving for my mother, I wash my feet, I ask for her blessings and I have come here (Russia)," he added.

This TNI AL statement emphasizes that revoking his status as an Indonesian citizen is certainly not proportional to what he received by becoming a Russian mercenary.

Therefore, he requested the President, Vice President, and Minister of Foreign Affairs to terminate his contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense, restore his status as an Indonesian citizen, and return him to his homeland.

Please allow me, with this I am requesting the generosity of heart of Pak Prabowo Subianto, Pak Gibran, Pak Sugiono,

"Please have the kindness to help me end that contract, and restore my citizenship rights to return to Indonesia," he pleaded.

Satria emphasized that only President Prabowo Subianto and of course the help of Allah SWT can terminate his contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense.

Satria also asked his friends on TikTok to forward his post to the Gerindra admin so it can be delivered to President Prabowo.

Frankly, I don't want to lose my citizenship, because Indonesian citizenship is everything to me and its value is immeasurable,

I once again sincerely apologize for my ignorance. I violated the Indonesian Citizenship Law, and my citizenship was revoked,

Once again, I humbly request the magnanimity of President Mr. Prabowo Subianto to help end the contract and restore my citizenship rights, and send me back to Indonesia,

"Please allow me, President. If there are any words from me that are wrong, we sincerely apologize. Assalamualaikum, warahmatullahi wabarakatuh," closed Satria Arta Kumbara.

In the video's description, Satria also wrote a message stating that this is his final decision after consulting with his mother.

"Please allow my friends, please forward it to the Gerindra admin so that it reaches Pak Prabowo," he wrote.

In another recent post, Satria also uploaded a message from his child in Indonesia dated June 25, 2025, wishing Satria a happy birthday.

Reported Dead Temporarily

Previously, Satria was reported to have fallen in battle at the front line facing Ukrainian forces.

The news of Satria's death was reported by Russian mercenaries from Indonesia, Heru Suta on his Tiktok account @heru_suta898 on June 22, 2025.

"Goodbye my brother, the knight of gold and silver, may you be accepted by Allah. I testify that you are a good person," wrote Heru Suta.

Only on July 7, 2025, the news was finally refuted. Heru Suta posted a photo of Satria while informing that the person concerned was still alive.

"Hahaha alhamdulillah he's okay ... always healthy, brother, take care of your stamina," wrote Heru Suta.

About four hours later, Satria also posted a photo of himself and informed that he was okay.

"Thank you for your prayers. I am still in good health," wrote Satria in the description of his post on Monday (7/7/2025).(*)
