Napoli Officially Announce the Signing of Sam Beukema from Bologna

Shiro Copr– Napoli officially announced the signing of center-back Sam Beukema on a permanent transfer from fellow Serie A club Bologna.

Beukema joined Partenopei after signing a five-year contract with a salary reportedly reaching EUR 3 million per season, which will be valid until the upcoming summer of 2030.

Napoli is reported to have agreed to pay a total of EUR 30 million in transfer fees, including bonuses, for the services of the Dutch-born player.

Beukema becomes Napoli's fifth recruit in this busy summer transfer window, after the team coached by Antonio Conte previously brought in Kevin De Bruyne, Luca Marianucci, Noa Lang, and Lorenzo Lucca.

As is usually the case with Napoli's recruitment, President Aurelio De Laurentiis was the first to officially announce the news through a tweet written " Welcome Sam for a few moments before the official announcement from the club's official website.

This 26-year-old player joined Napoli after two years of career in Emilia-Romagna with Bologna, where he made 80 appearances in all competitions he participated in.

This Dutch national center-back started his senior football career in the 2017/2018 season while wearing the uniform of Go Ahead Eagles. In his first year playing in the Eredivisie, Beukema only got eight matches in all competitions.
