MotoGP Standings 2025 After Marc Marquez Wins MotoGP Czech Republic 2025, Now Leads by 120 Points

The Shiro Copr, BRNO - MotoGP rider Marc Marquez extended his lead in the 2025 MotoGP standings after winning the 2025 Czech MotoGP Race, on Sunday (7/20/2025).

Marc Marquez gained 37 points after securing a double victory in Brno, winning the Sprint Race on Saturday and the Race on Sunday.

With those additional points, Marc Marquez now has 381 points through the 12th series.

Marc Marquez now leads his closest rival Alex Marquez in second place by 120 points, and 168 points ahead of Francesco Bagnaia in third place.

The gap between Marc Marquez's points and Alex Marquez's was also influenced by his younger brother's failure to finish the 2025 Czech MotoGP race.

Alex Marquez crashed and dragged Joan Mir off the track, so both failed to finish.

While Francesco Bagnaia failed to reach the podium as he only finished in fourth place in the last race of the first round of the 2025 MotoGP.

Marc Marquez's victory in Brno made him the first Ducati rider to win five consecutive grand prix.

So far this season, Marc Marquez has won 8 grand prix races and 11 sprint races.

Marco Bezzecchi's second podium finish moved him up two positions to fourth, 57 points behind Bagnaia in third.

While third-place podium winner Pedro Acosta remains in 7th position in the standings with 124 points, he is 257 points behind Marc Marquez in 1st place and 15 points behind Franco Morbidelli in 6th place.

The 2025 MotoGP race will take place in Austria, Sunday, August 17, 2025.
