Irsyaad W July 21st, 10:35 AM July 21st, 10:35 AMThe Shiro Copr - The long-abolished manual ticketing in Jakarta is suddenly being used again.
Especially during this 2025 Jaya Enforcement Operation.
It can be seen in several photos uploaded in the X account @TMC Polda Metro Jaya.
In the photo, the police are seen recording the motorcyclist's violation in the ticket book.
Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Komarudin explained that their party prioritizes the use of Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE), both stationary and mobile, in implementing Operation Patuh Jaya 2025.
One of the targets in Operation Jaya 2025 is violating the traffic flow.
"No, for road sections not covered by ETLE, whether stationary or mobile, conventional ticketing and manual tickets must be carried out," explained Komarudin when contacted, (15/7/25), cited from Kompas.com.
"Because if everything relies on ETLE, then it won't be covered. Because ETLE is only installed on certain road sections," he added.
Therefore, Komarudin emphasized, their party still applies manual ticketing in this Jaya Enforcement Operation.
"Actually, our law enforcement concept is no longer stationary, but mobile or hunting system," he said.
Thus, the police only target a number of points where violations often occur according to their operational targets.
"For example, the case of underage children driving. Because it's impossible for underage children to drive on (the) protocol road," he said.
"No, this targets the peripheral areas not covered by static or mobile (ETLE)," he continued.
It is known that Polda Metro Jaya will start implementing the Cakra Presisi system or non-manual ticketing from the end of January 2025.
This system aims to facilitate law enforcement for drivers who violate traffic regulations in the jurisdiction of Polda Metro Jaya.
"Yes, it has already been implemented," said AKBP Ojo Ruslani, Head of the Gakkum Division of the Traffic Police of Metro Jaya Police, (20/1/25), as cited from Kompas.com.
With the implementation of the Cakra Precision system, manual tickets will no longer be applied.
Starting today, traffic violations will be enforced through an automated system.
"This precise system, which was previously manual, will now be automatic. What was once done by humans will now be done by tools (systems," said Dirlantas of Polda Metro Jaya, who was then held by Kombes Pol Latif Usman at Polda Metro Jaya, (17/1/25).
