Kaesang Reveals the Reason for PSI's Rebranding and Choosing an Elephant as the Logo

Shiro Copr, JAKARTA - Chairperson of the DPP Indonesian Solidarity Party ( PSI ), Kaesang Pangarep , revealing the reason Rebranding What his party did, including choosing the elephant logo.

PSI is doing Rebranding and replacing the rose logo with an elephant.

Rebranding it was officially launched in PSI Congress held in Solo, Central Java, on July 19 and 20, 2025.

"PSI's logo has officially changed to an elephant. The elephant is a symbol of strength, intelligence, determination, and solidarity. These are the qualities we want to instill in every PSI member: clear thinking, moving together, and not easily swayed by obstacles," said Kaesang Pangarep in his speech during the closing ceremony of the PSI Congress 2025 at Edutorium UMS, Solo, on Sunday (20/7/2025) evening.

Furthermore, Kaesang mentioned that the elephant in Javanese culture also symbolizes great strength, calm and dignified demeanor.

Although the elephant walks slowly, its steps are firm and unshakable.

In addition, elephants are group animals and loyal, never leaving their herd.

Therefore, Kaesang hopes that the good qualities of elephants must be deeply rooted in the hearts of every PSI cadre.

Kaesang hopes that PSI after Rebranding Capable like an elephant, becoming a great and strong political force, yet remaining humble.

"Like a large but gentle elephant, strong yet full of wisdom, we want PSI to appear as a political force that is firm yet humble, moving slowly but surely," he added.

In his speech, Kaesang also reported to President Prabowo that PSI has completed the General Election.

In the process of selecting a new chairman, PSI applies e-voting Digital-based and applying a one-member-one-vote system.

"This opens a new space for members and officers to interact, deliberate, campaign, and make decisions efficiently, transparently, and quickly. All through digital technology. This is the new face of our politics: modern, open, and technology-based," said Kaesang.

The PSI Congress 2025 officially ended on Sunday night.

The closing of the PSI 2025 Congress was attended by President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.
