Chief of Police Leads the Large Kokam 2025 Assembly, Signs Food Security MOU with Muhammadiyah Youth

The Shiro Copr - Police Chief General Police Listyo Sigit Prabowo personally led the large-scale Komando Kesiapsiagaan Angkatan Muda Muhammadiyah (Kokam) 2025 assembly at Tridadi Stadium, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Region, on Sunday (7/20/2025). The event was attended by 23,450 Kokam members from all over Indonesia.

This large-scale apel (march) is an important moment in strengthening the synergy between the Police and religious-based youth organizations, especially Pemuda Muhammadiyah. At this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was also signed between the Police and the Central Board of Pemuda Muhammadiyah.

"Alhamdulillah, just now the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Polri and the Central Board of Muhammadiyah Youth was carried out regarding the synergy of agricultural efforts in order to realize national food security," said the Chief of Police.

General Sigit emphasized that this cooperation is a concrete form of contribution from the Police in supporting national food self-sufficiency. This program aligns with the Police's efforts targeting the planting of corn on 1 million hectares of land by the end of 2025.

"This collaboration is a concrete implementation aligned with the food resilience program carried out by the Police, which supports self-sufficiency in food. By the end of 2025, the Police aim to plant corn on an area of 1 million hectares," he explained.

The Chief of Police also conveyed the importance of cross-sector collaboration to face global challenges that affect national stability. He emphasized that President Prabowo Subianto's grand mission in Asta Cita also places food security as a priority for national development.

"one of the missions of Asta Cita is to realize national food security, which can certainly be achieved by increasing productivity and maximizing the potential of domestic agriculture," stated the Chief of Police.

In addition to emphasizing food security, the Chief of Police also showed social concern for Kokam members. He symbolically handed over a house renovation program assistance to members who are considered to have high dedication in their service.

The 2025 Akbar Kokam Rally is an opportunity to strengthen strategic collaboration between state institutions and community organizations. With the spirit of mutual cooperation, the synergy between the Police and Muhammadiyah Youth is expected to enhance national resilience, especially in the food sector, which is the cornerstone of national sovereignty.
