Hendrik Lo, who is affectionately called Yeye, the father of Sarwendah, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the age of 65 due to complications from the kidneys, heart, and respiratory system.
Ruben immediately flew from Bali to Jakarta right after receiving the sad news from his son, Betrand Peto.
"I heard the news that Yeye left Onyo (Betrand Peto)," wrote Ruben Onsu, quoted by Tribunnews.com, Monday (21/7/2025).
"I asked the team to find me a faster return ticket, but there was none earlier. Even my flight schedule was delayed," he explained.
In his explanation in the Instagram caption, Ruben finally arrived in Jakarta at midnight and without waiting long, he immediately went to the mourning house after putting his belongings at home.
There, he was present as a father, former son-in-law, and also as a person who had shared many memories with the large Sarwendah family.
Although there was no direct meeting between Ruben and Sarwendah in the shared video, Ruben's presence still conveyed deep condolences over Yeye's passing.
Jordi Remembered the Figure Hendrik Lo
On the other hand, Ruben Onsu's younger brother, Jordi Onsu, also expressed his condolences over the death of Sarwendah Tan's father, Hendrik Lo, yesterday, Saturday (19/7/2025).
Ruben Onsu's younger brother admitted that he has lost his parents' presence again.
Jordi Onsu finally revealed the figure of Sarwendah's late father, whom he often called Yeye.
Jordi used to often meet Hendrik Lo when Ruben was still Sarwendah's husband.
Getting to know him quite well, Kordi called Hendrik Lo a cheerful person who was always smiling.

Because of his good personality, Jordi said that Sarwendah's father was not given prolonged pain before his death.
She is grateful that the process of Hendrik Lo's departure was facilitated.

Jordi Onsu said that Sarwendah is still overwhelmed with sadness, so she keeps crying.

Hendrik Lo passed away at the age of 65.
