KEPRI POST – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Hang Nadim Batam Class I Meteorological Station released weather forecast for Kepulauan Riau (Kepri) today, Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Most areas are predicted to experience cloudy weather, with potential rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Natuna Regency in the morning.
BMKG stated that the fairly strong wind conditions around the Kepri area do not support the significant formation of rain clouds, so most areas will only experience cloudy weather.
Nevertheless, the community in the Natuna area is urged to be vigilant against the potential for moderate to heavy rain that may be accompanied by lightning/thunder and strong winds, especially in the morning.
