Trump Demands Iran Surrender Unconditionally

President Donald Trump is asking Iran to surrender unconditionally. Through a social media post, Trump warned Iran that America's patience is wearing thin.

Although Trump says there is no intention to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei at this time, Trump's demand that Iran immediately surrender shows an aggressive stance by the US towards Iran.

"We know exactly where the so-called 'Supreme Leader' is hiding," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social, according to Reuters , Wednesday (18/6).

"We will not finish him (kill!), at least not for now. Our patience is wearing thin," he added.

Around 3 minutes later, Trump wrote again on Truth Social, asking Iran to surrender immediately.

"SURRENDER WITHOUT CONDITIONS!" Trump said.

Trump's sometimes contradictory and vague statements about the Iran and Israel conflict are deepening the uncertainty surrounding this issue.

Sources close to internal discussions say that Trump and his team are considering a number of options, including joining Israel to attack nuclear facilities in Iran.

The White House officials said, Trump spoke via telephone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Tuesday (17/6).

Trump also met with the National Security Council for 90 minutes on Tuesday afternoon to discuss the conflict between Iran and Israel, although details were not provided.

The US has also reportedly sent more fighter jets to the Middle East and expanded the deployment of other fighter jets there. Up until now, the US has only taken indirect action in the Iran-Israel conflict, including helping to shoot down missiles aimed at Israel.

A source with access to US intelligence reports said that Iran has moved some ballistic missile launchers. However, it is still difficult to confirm whether Iran will target US forces or Israel.

Entering the sixth day of the war, Iran and Israel are still attacking each other. The Israeli military said that two chains of Iranian missiles were launched towards Israel in the first 2 hours on Wednesday (18/6) morning, and their explosions were heard throughout Tel Aviv.

Israel has also asked Iranian citizens living in the southern part of Tehran to evacuate so that its air force can attack Iranian military facilities. Iranian news sites reported that Israel attacked a university affiliated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard in the east of the capital.
