The BAIC X55 II Officially Rolled Out in Medan, Price Difference of Around Rp20 Million with Jakarta

The Shiro Corporation - The market strategy division of PT JIO Distribution Indonesia (JDI) collaborates with PT Mega Central Autoniaga to launch the regional SUV BAIC X55 II in the Ground Floor of Center Point Mall Medan.

The launch, during which the cast will also be present, will take place from June 16-22, 2025. This is a strategic move by Baic to expand its market reach and meet the needs of consumers in the dynamic Sumatera region.

As is known, the BAIC X55 II, which was launched nationally in Jakarta, comes in two variant options, namely Lite and Prime, providing more flexibility for consumers.

The Prime variant offers more comprehensive features compared to the previous version, while the Lite variant comes with simpler features but remains functional.

Speaking of prices, it's different from what is in Jakarta, where the Baic X55 II Prime is priced at Rp 463.9 million OTR Medan, while the Baic X55 II Lite costs Rp 399.9 million OTR Medan.

The price is indeed higher compared to Jakarta where the X55 II Prime variant is priced at Rp 429 million and the X55 II Lite variant is priced at Rp 380 million.

The interesting part is that specifically during the exhibition period, the public will get a special price in the form of a discount of Rp. 5 million.

The BAIC X55 II also offers new elegant color options. The Lite variant is available in Black-on-Black (black) and White-on-Black (white).

Meanwhile, the Prime variant, in addition to black and white, also comes with other previously available color options such as Red, Yellow, Platinum Grey, Crystal Grey, and White. The total number of colors available now is 8.

Both variants of Baic X55 II are powered by an advanced powertrain called "Magic-Core Engine". This 1.5L Turbo petrol engine is capable of producing 185Hp with peak torque of 305Nm, making it the highest torque in its class, even surpassing some vehicles with 1.6L engines.

This impressive engine performance is paired with an advanced 7-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (7-DCT) that is highly responsive while still providing smooth and comfortable gear shifts.
