Spider-Man Faces Cosmic Adventure: Two Versions of Peter Parker Appear Simultaneously in Latest Comic!
KILAS KLATEN – Marvel Comics once again surprises fans with a new and very interesting direction for the series Amazing Spider-Man .
After Joe Kelly completes his first arc in this series with stunning illustrations by Pepe Larraz, who is known for his work on comics like X-Men , now the story of Spider-Man is entering a new chapter that is no less surprising.
Dalam Amazing Spider-Man The 11th edition, set to be released in September, will see Peter Parker experience something extraordinary: he will be split into two different versions! This concept is reminiscent of a classic story. Superman Red and Superman Blue From the 1960s.
One Spider-Man will be lost far out in space during a cosmic adventure, while another version remains on Earth, fighting crime on the streets of Manhattan.
Pepe Larraz will handle the part of the story where Spider-Man is trapped in space.
I also designed a new "Cosmic" themed costume for Peter Parker, which will make its debut in issue 11, simultaneously becoming issue 975 in history. Amazing Spider-Man .
On the other hand, John Romita Jr. will draw the part of the story focusing on the Spider-Man from Earth.
This story will also introduce a new villain named Hellgate , which is suspected to be the main reason for Spider-Man being split into two.
Interestingly, up until now there is no certainty about which of the two versions is the real Peter Parker.
At the time of the cosmic Spider-Man exploring space alongside a new character named Symbie , Spider-Man on Earth will appear more aggressive and emotional than usual.
His changed attitude makes the other Spider-heroes worried and they try to step in to prevent Peter from going too far.
All of this will take place in the 12th edition, which will be fully drawn by Romita Jr.
because its lantern is on Earth.
Joe Kelly, the songwriter, explains that he wants to combine two sides of Spider-Man: the "ground-level" version defending Manhattan and the "fish out of water" version adventuring in outer space.
"Why choose if we can have both?" he said in Marvel's official release.
I would also like to add that even though this story is full of action and new characters, the emotional essence of Peter Parker remains the main focus.
"Wherever Spider-Man goes, he always carries inner turmoil. This adventure isn't just about spectacular visuals, but also about heart and the struggle Peter faces in dealing with the impact of Hellgate's appearance," Kelly revealed.
With two great artists like Larraz and Romita Jr. working together, along with a fresh and emotional story concept, this new journey for Spider-Man seems likely to become one of the most impressive arcs in Spider-Man's history. Amazing Spider-Man .
Amazing Spider-Man #11 It will be officially released on September 3, 2025.
