PULANG PISAU – The Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Pulang Pisau Regency continues to improve health service quality for the community. One concrete step taken is the introduction of more comprehensive, professional physical therapy services, ready to serve various patient needs with full concern.
The Director of RSUD Pulang Pisau dr Muliyanto Budihardjo M.Hlth.Sc said that strengthening physiotherapy services is a form of commitment from the Government of Pulang Pisau Regency to provide optimal and comprehensive health services.
"This physiotherapy service is provided to address the needs of the community experiencing mobility limitations due to pain, during the recovery period after a stroke or injury, as well as for children who require motor development therapy," explained Dr. Muliyanto.
I would like to emphasize that the physiotherapy team at RSUD Pulang Pisau consists of professional and competent personnel in their field. They are supported by modern equipment that enhances the therapy process to be more effective and comfortable for patients.
"We are ready to accompany patients through every step of the recovery process. With a trained team and adequate facilities, we are committed to providing safe, comfortable, and targeted therapy," he added.
This physiotherapy service includes various types of physical therapy such as reducing muscle and joint pain, post-operative or injury recovery, special needs pediatric therapy, as well as improving posture and muscle strengthening exercises.
The main goal of this therapy, Muliyanto said, is to improve the patient's mobility, restore disrupted body functions, and enhance the patient's quality of life so they can return to their activities as usual.
"Our physiotherapy services are open on weekdays. The public who wish to consult or undergo therapy can come directly or schedule through the hospital service staff," he explained.
The hospital hopes that with the introduction of this service, the community no longer needs to travel far to find physiotherapy facilities outside the region. RSUD Pulang Pisau is ready to become a friendly, professional, and affordable recovery center.
