The Shiro Copr.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (UMJ) becomes the host soft launching ITMU product at Auditorium KH Ahmad Azhar Basyir, UMJ Cendekia Building, Tuesday (17/6/2025).
This product is the result of development from the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Institute (LPUMKM) Central Board (PP) Muhammadiyah as part of efforts to empower the economy of the community through the UMKM sector.
Rector of UMJ Prof Dr Ma'mun Murod, M.Si, stated that UMJ, as part of the Muhammadiyah charitable organization, fully supports the steps and programs carried out by LPUMKM PP Muhammadiyah.
The renowned political science expert added that activities like this are not only important to be held at UMJ, but should also be implemented in other major Muhammadiyah campuses.
"We must start cultivating awareness to buy and use products produced by Muhammadiyah itself. By doing so, we can promote economic independence of the community and strengthen the business ecosystem of Muhammadiyah from upstream to downstream," said the Chairman of the PTMA University Rectors Forum.
The chairman of PP Muhammadiyah Dr H Anwar Abbas, MM, M.Ag, said that the launch of the ITMU product is a strategic step in strengthening the economic movement of Muhammadiyah. He mentioned that ITMU is the second product launched after the successful launch of ACMu previously.
"ITMU appears as a brand that offers products such as laptops, PCs, and smartphones. This is part of Muhammadiyah's effort to achieve economic independence," he said.
Anwar hopes that Muhammadiyah in the future will not only be known as a movement for preaching and good deeds, but also as a force in economics and a strong business player.
The head of LPUMKM PP Muhammadiyah, Apt Toni Firmansyah, S.Farm., expressed his highest appreciation and gratitude to UMJ for kindly hosting the soft launch event of ITMU products.
I would like to add that today is a moment we have been eagerly anticipating, as we officially launch the Muhammadiyah IT product.
"The launch has gone through various preparations, and we believe that this product will be able to compete competitively and can be widely used by the public," he said.
Toni said that this ITMU product is expected to become one of the flagship products of Muhammadiyah, produced and marketed through a healthy and sustainable business model. He hopes that this product will not only be a source of pride, but also a source of blessings.
The Chairman of PT Sinar Fajar Berkarya, Nini Maryon Chatib, SH., MKn., said that moving forward, there will be more business lines that can be developed by PT SFB. She is optimistic that going forward, they will continue to introduce flagship products that are not only innovative but also provide real benefits to the wider community.
The senior entrepreneur Muhammadiyah Sutrisno Bachir said that Muhammadiyah needs to prepare itself by expanding its network of cooperation, especially with business actors, through various strategic programs.
Ia menambahkan Muhammadiyah memiliki sumber daya manusia (SDM) dan jaringan yang kuat. Namun, menurutnya, hal yang paling penting adalah mengubah pola pikir ( mindset ) to be more progressive than visionary.
"Those who can drive change in Indonesia moving forward must be led by Muhammadiyah. We have the potential; it's just a matter of shaping the right mindset," he asserted.
ITMU DAC is a local information technology product introduced by Muhammadiah and presented for Indonesia. The products launched include Laptops, All in One PCs, Desktops, Workstations, Interactive Flat Panels, and other accessories.
ITMU DAC is expected to be part of and an option among local products with global quality within the Muhammadiyah community specifically and more broadly across Indonesia. ITMU also already has 110 service point across all of Indonesia.
