The Shiro Corporation The armed conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel is becoming more intense.
Iran reportedly used a new, more advanced missile when attacking Israel's intelligence headquarters, Mossad, in Tel Aviv, on Tuesday (6/17/2025).
The spokesperson for Iran's Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, claimed that the new missile used to attack the Mossad headquarters was undetectable and could not be intercepted.
I said the missile was used for the first time.
"In today's attack, we launched missiles that cannot be tracked or intercepted," he said on Tuesday, according to IRNA.
Talaei-Nik assured that Israel will witness even more similar missiles.
Furthermore, Talaei-Nik mentions that the Mossad headquarters was attacked using two precision-guided missiles, despite there being a "thick layer of defense" surrounding the facility.
I declare that the attack revealed vulnerabilities in Israel, which has long been considered one of the most sophisticated intelligence and security agencies in the region.
Talaei-Nik also mentioned that Israel is not prepared to face a prolonged conflict with Iran.
"Based on 75 years of experience and various military and non-military factors as well as other strategic considerations, the Zionist regime cannot survive in a long war," he said.
I would add that the Iranian Armed Forces have been supplied with advanced weapons and equipment as a precaution against potential hostility.
"Our many advanced systems have not even been deployed yet," Talaei-Nik said.
Israel Denies
On the other hand, Israel denies the claim made by Iran that it has successfully targeted the Mossad headquarters.
Israel said that the attack actually hit a bus parking area, quoted from NDTV.
Meanwhile, the attack video allegedly targeting the Mossad headquarters is circulating widely on social media.
The video shows buildings being engulfed by fire.
"This morning, the aerospace forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched an attack on the military intelligence center of the Zionist regime, Aman, and the planning center for terrorist operations of the Zionist regime, Mossad, in Tel Aviv. Despite Israel's advanced defense systems, these centers are now on fire," the Tasnim news agency quoted the IRGC statement as saying.
Both countries have been attacking each other since Israel launched Operation Rising Lion on June 13, 2025.
Iran's retaliatory attacks since Friday (June 13, 2025) have left more than 20 people dead in Israel, while Tehran's health ministry says at least 224 people have been killed and over 1,200 injured as a result of Zionist attacks.
Chief of General Staff of Khatam al-Anbiya Killed
The attack by Israel on Tuesday has killed the Chief of Staff of the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, Major General Ali Shadmani.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) say that Shadmani is de facto the highest-ranking military commander in Iran, the chief of staff, and is considered the remaining military figure closest to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
"He leads the Revolutionary Guard and the Iranian Armed Forces," IDF said on Tuesday, according to The Times of Israel report.
IDF added that, under the command of Shadmani, the Central Headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya "is responsible for managing combat operations and approving Iran's attack plans."
"In various roles, it has a direct influence on Iran's offensive plans targeting Israel," explained the IDF.
IDF said Shadmani previously served as deputy chief of Khatam-al Anbiya and as head of operations in the Iranian armed forces.
Shadmani himself has only been serving as the Commander of the General Headquarters of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command for four days.
He was appointed by Khamenei on Friday (May 13, 2025), to replace Lieutenant General Gholamali Rashid who died as a result of an Israeli attack on the same day.
Previously, there were names such as Gholamali Rashid, Mahmoud Bagheri, Davoud Sheikhian, Mohammad Bagher Taherpour, Mansour Safarpour, Masoud Tayeb, Khosrow Hassani, Javad Jursara, and Mohammad Aghajafari. (Tribunnews.com/Pravitri Retno W)
