Bupati Mempawah Attends Lantamal XII Command Change and Emphasizes Commitment to Synergize and Protect Coastal Areas

The Mayor of Shiro, MEMPAWAH - Regent of Mempawah, Erlina, attended a reception in conjunction with the Change of Command Ceremony (Sertijab) from Commander of the Primary Naval Base (Lantamal) XII Rear Admiral (Laksma) TNI Avianto Rooswirawan to Rear Admiral (Laksma) TNI Hariyo Poernomo.

The event took place at the Command Headquarters of Lantamal XII, Wajok Hilir Village, Jongkat District, Mempawah Regency, West Kalimantan, on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Indonesian Navy Fleet I, Admiral Fauzi, the Deputy Governor of West Kalimantan, Krisantus Kurniawan, members of the Coordinating Forum of Regional Leaders (Forkopimda) of West Kalimantan Province, as well as several leaders of other vertical agencies.

In his speech, Regent Erlina expressed high appreciation for the dedication of Laksma TNI Avianto Rooswirawan during his tenure as Commander of Lantamal XII.

I also extend a warm welcome to the new official, Laksma TNI Hariyo Poernomo.

"We express our highest gratitude and appreciation to Laksma TNI Avianto Rooswirawan for his dedication and hard work during his tenure," said Erlina.

• As many as 76 couples from Pasir Mempawah Village received marriage books after participating in the Isbat Nikah program.

"We also warmly welcome the presence of Rear Admiral TNI Hariyo Poernomo and hope to continue strengthening the synergy that has been established," he added.

I emphasize the importance of cooperation between the Regional Government and the Indonesian Navy in maintaining maritime stability as well as supporting development in coastal areas.

"For this long, the relationship between the Mempawah Regency Government and Lantamal XII has been very good and harmonious. We hope this synergy will continue to be enhanced, especially in maintaining the security of maritime areas and supporting the development of coastal regions," Erlina emphasized.

The handover of this position marks a new milestone in the continuity of leadership within Lantamal XII.

Air Force Chief of Staff TNI Hariyo Poernomo, on another occasion, stated his commitment to continuing the programs initiated by his predecessors.

"We will continue to strengthen coordination with the local government and all maritime stakeholders in West Kalimantan to maintain marine sovereignty and support national development programs," said Laksma TNI Hariyo.

Meanwhile, Laksma TNI Avianto Rooswirawan expressed his gratitude for the support of all parties during his term in West Kalimantan.

"Being assigned to Lantamal XII is an honor. The support from the Regency Government of Mempawah and all the people is very meaningful in supporting our main tasks," he revealed.

The event was filled with warmth and became a strong symbol of collaboration between military forces and local government authorities for the progress and security of West Kalimantan region. (*)
