The Shiro Copr, BONDOWOSO - The RK family, a student from Bondowoso who went missing while fishing in the Sampean Baru river, Taman village, Taman Krocok district, Bondowoso, East Java, held a group prayer and flower scattering ceremony on Monday (21/7/2025).
A joint prayer was conducted by the family members followed by scattering flowers at the place believed to be the location where RK went missing.
According to Vallen, the victim's uncle, this joint prayer is a spiritual effort to ask Allah SWT for help in finding his nephew.
"Praying to God, the Lord of the world," he said.
She is with the family hoping that her nephew is found in any condition.
"Hopefully found soon, in any condition," said the victim's uncle with tears in his eyes.
She said, her mother's confession, RK said goodbye to the family to go fishing with two of his friends.
No warnings from the family.
RK, who is the youngest of three siblings, left wearing a green outfit complete with his fishing rod.
"Forgive his mother," he explained.
According to Vallen, RK is known as a quiet person. Not talkative.
RK is still in 9th grade at MTs Negeri 1 Bondowoso.
In daily life, RK lives with his mother and his second older brother, because his father has passed away.
He admitted that his nephew was indeed not good at swimming.
"His child is quiet," he explained.
Second Day Search
The second day of the search for student RK, whose surname is Bondowoso, who went missing while fishing in the Sampean Baru River, in Taman Village, Taman Krocok District, Bondowoso, was carried out on Monday (21/7/2025).
Tim SAR Gabungan is divided into four SRU with a coverage area of up to 4.5 KM.
"We divide into 4 SRU. Three rafting and one LCR we deploy to LKP (Last Known Position, red)," said Andi Irawan, Coordinator of the SAR Base in Jember.
Ia explained that they have also divided the team at each checkpoint.
To obtain various information from the community members who are active along the riverbank.

"Kita akan lakukan penyelaman jika ada tanda-tanda, atau dicurigai ada titik-titik yang dicurigai keberadaan korban," terangnya.

The student is RK, a resident of Wonosari Village, Wonosari District, Bondowoso.
Initial information, RK went fishing with two friends around 16:00 WIB.
