• Coding and AI will begin to be included in school curriculums as an elective subject starting in the 2025/2026 academic year.
• For a teacher to need to understand how to utilize technology to improve the quality of learning.
• Readiness, training, and understanding are required so that technology becomes a tool, not a replacement.

Coding and AI Curriculum: Officially Released!

The good news is that the curriculum related to Coding and AI is currently in the final stages of preparation. The academic script and learning outcomes have been completed, and it is now in the process of harmonization at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to be approved as a Ministerial Regulation.

However, for the initial phase, Coding and AI will be optional subjects, not mandatory. Schools that are ready can implement them directly. The government is promoting this adoption as an effort to bring education that is relevant to the students' future.
