The Director of the North Maluku Province Ministry of Religion and the Social Security Agency for Employment Sign a Cooperation Agreement

The Shiro Corporation - The Head of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kakanwil Kemenag) of North Maluku Province, H. Amar Manaf, signed a cooperation agreement with the Social Security Agency Ketenagakerjaan on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

The cooperation relates to social security protection for educators, education staff, and other supporting personnel who are non-Civil Servant Apparatus (Non ASN) within the Ministry of Religion environment in North Maluku Province.

The signing of this cooperation was attended by representatives from the BPJS for Employment Ternate Branch, representatives from Bank Syariah Indonesia, the Head of Islamic Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Maluku Utara (Malut), and an Eselon III Officer from the Directorate General of Islamic Affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Maluku Utara (Malut) and the Head of Religious Affairs in Regencies/Municipalities.

In his speech, H. Amar Manaf, the Head of the North Maluku Province Ministry of Religious Affairs, stated that this cooperation is a real commitment to provide a sense of security and protection to all non-ASN employees in the Ministry of Religious Affairs environment.

"This cooperation is a form of our endeavor to provide proper protection for educators, education staff, and other supporting personnel. With the provision of social security for employment, we strive to prevent and anticipate unwanted events that could affect them while carrying out their duties," said Amar.

Through this Cooperation Agreement (PKS), Non-ASN workforce under the Ministry of Religion of North Maluku Province will receive protection from the Social Security Administrator for Employment (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan).

Meanwhile, the Head of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan City of Ternate, I Wayan Alit Mahendra Putra Adi N, appreciated the initiative of the Kanwil Kemenag North Maluku in realizing social protection for education and religious sector workers.

We appreciate the progressive steps taken by the Directorate General of Religious Affairs North Maluku in providing social security protection for educators and support staff.

"This is a form of concern for the well-being of the workers who have an important role in the environment of the Malut Ministry," he said.

Collaboration not only provides job security guarantees, but also serves as a tangible manifestation of the state's presence in protecting those who dedicate themselves to the fields of education and religion.
