1. Joint prayer so that the Hajj pilgrims' service runs smoothly and well

This event was indeed organized to coordinate the readiness to welcome pilgrims from Mecca, as well as a joint prayer, so that the service for the pilgrims runs smoothly and well.
We held a joint prayer for about 30 minutes. The Head of Daker Madinah Luthfi Makki gave some instructions to his team. Among other things, he expressed appreciation to the Saudi Ministry of Hajj for allowing the Indonesian government to receive pilgrims from Mecca, with the scheme of batches, so that the pilgrims would not be separated from their groups.
"Third, I ask that we continue to maintain solidarity among friends, stay enthusiastic, and don't lose hope. Especially for those who are already sick, who have started to recover while struggling in Mina, and hopefully all will be healthy until the end," he said.
"The first group is already full at one hotel, if there is any availability it would be in another hotel, it's inevitable, hard to avoid," he added.
Makki also instructed the accommodation service team for hajj pilgrims to ensure that the hotels were fully prepared when welcoming the arrival of hajj pilgrims from Makkah.
Do not let the hotel be ready when the pilgrims arrive, but the hotel is not prepared. So in Madinah, do not let there be any problems at all, please prepare the accommodations, the number of beds should match the number of pilgrims, the data has already been connected and is valid with what is in Mecca," said Makki.

Makki also reminded the consumption team not to let pilgrims who did not receive their rights go without food. They must receive meals while in Medina.
"The consumption issue must also be confirmed in each sector of every group, so that everyone can receive their share, one person should get everything," he said.
Then, regarding check-in and check-out at the hotel, Makki reminded that it must be ensured no pilgrims are left behind. It should not happen that the plane has already taken off back to the Home Country while the pilgrims are still at the hotel.
"Regarding the departure of the pilgrims. This is a challenge for the return schedule must be precise, it must be ensured that there is no less or no more. Make sure that the plane does not take off with pilgrims left behind," he said.
Regarding the belongings of the group, the luggage should also be confirmed to ensure there is no excess weight. Especially when carrying Zamzam water, whether in the large suitcase in the baggage compartment or in the small carry-on luggage for the cabin.
"He also emphasized that there should never be frequently items that shouldn't be carried in the suitcase, it should never be the case that the suitcase is filled with only zamzam water," he advised.
"Make sure to check the scale of the luggage, what's inside it, before the scheduled departure the luggage must already be weighed," he continued.
Not only that, Makki also reminded not to have any illegal levies, commonly known as pungli, from hajj pilgrims.
"There are no illegal levies, the issued tasreh is free of charge. Let there be no more rumors. Please control this carefully for the pilgrims who wish to go to Raudah," he asserted.
The health of the pilgrims must also be ensured before returning to their home country, so that the journey proceeds smoothly and they arrive home safely.
"The first group (of pilgrims) arrives from Mecca in the morning, it's the hottest time. The pilgrims must be well taken care of, don't let even one pilgrim go without service," he emphasized.

"Thank you friends in Medina who always pray for the friends in Mina. Thus, the journey in Mina went smoothly yesterday," Makki concluded the event.
Makki reminds all members of the PPIH Saudi Arabia Daker Madinah to truly maximize serving the pilgrims in the City of the Prophet.
"Kasektor also ensures that none of its members are absent. This time it's going to be great, friends, hopefully we remain united until the end, basically make sure no member is left behind," he added.
