Persebaya Surabaya Targets a Liberian Striker for IDR 3.91 Billion, His Goal Statistics are Impressive!

The Shiro Corporation - Persebaya Surabaya continues to hunt for foreign players to strengthen their team in next season's Liga 1. This time, the name of striker Abu Razard Kamara from Liberia is linked with the Green Force.

The presence of high-quality players in the forward line is indeed needed by Persebaya. Last season, Bajol Ijo became the team with the lowest goal score among the top 10 teams in the standings. Flavio Silva and colleagues managed to score only 41 goals.

Abu Razard is currently playing in the Oman League for the club Al-Seeb. However, according to Transfermarkt data, the end date of his contract is unknown. As for his transfer value, it stands at 3.91 billion Indonesian rupiah.

The 182 cm striker joined Al-Seeb in January 2025. However, despite playing for only six months, his statistics are quite impressive. He played nine times in the Oman Pro League, and Abu Razard Kamara managed to score 8 goals and provide 2 assists. Meanwhile, in the Asian competition, the AFC Challenge League, he scored one goal in one appearance.

Together with Al-Seeb, he also managed to deliver the Omanian Champion title.

The Liberian national team player has extensive experience in Asian football. Even when venturing out from his hometown, the first professional club of Abu, namely Champasak in the Lao League, was where he started.

Abu Razard Kamara also played in neighboring country, Malaysia, by representing Kuching City from 2022 to 2024.

In the national team arena, this former player of the Manama Club made his first debut in 2021. Having played nine times for the Liberian national team, he has not scored any goals yet.
