Open University Becomes the Desired College Destination for Gen Z

University becomes one of the higher education levels where a student does not only gain knowledge but also acquires skills related to a specific field of study. Once they obtain knowledge and skills, what other goal would they aim for besides job opportunities?

Increasing the potential they possess and getting wider job opportunities are the reasons why Generation Z (Gen Z) chooses to go to college. Thanks to technological advancements, attending college can now be done online or without face-to-face meetings. For example, Universitas Terbuka (UT), the pioneer of Online Classes in Indonesia, has become a choice for Gen Z in the country.

With the flexible digital learning system, UT proves that higher education does not have to be expensive or require coming to campus. This is what specifically considers Gen Z to study at UT because knowledge can 'be transferred' transcending geographical boundaries. This means that to obtain learning materials, they can be obtained from anywhere, whether at home, office, abroad, or even while traveling.

Yes, Universitas Terbuka is a symbol of modern educational revolution. This is because UT supports its students to continue developing and learning. By utilizing technology, UT has operational units throughout Indonesia, one of which is UT Jakarta located in the Matraman area, East Jakarta.

Offer World-Class Higher Education Services

Universitas Terbuka (UT) offers higher education services with world-class quality through a flexible open and distance learning system that is affordable for all segments of society. So far, more than 3 million high-quality alumni have graduated from UT and are active in various strategic fields, proving UT's substantial contribution in shaping superior human resources for national progress.

For those of you living in the capital and looking to pursue higher education, UT Jakarta offers educational services tailored to the dynamic rhythm of urban life. The presence of UT Jakarta is a service unit with the highest number of active students, with the number of registered students at UT Jakarta exceeding 83 thousand, and the majority being workers who choose to study while working.
