Narcotics Dealer in Tanahlaut Jorong Apprehended, 18 Packages of Methamphetamine Found Under Washing Machine

The Shiro Copr, PELAIHARI - The illegal circulation and abuse of narcotics in Jorong subdistrict, Tanahlaut (Tala) regency, South Kalimantan (Kalsel), have once again been successfully uncovered by local police.

Since Tuesday night, the perpetrator has been explained to the holding cell at Polsek Jorong.

Referring to the data from Polsek Jorong, the suspect is AR (45), a resident of Desa Swarangan. The officers seized dozens of packages of methamphetamine at the suspect's house.

The white powder that damages nerves was hidden by the perpetrator by wrapping it in multiple layers of plastic. The outermost plastic wrap is black. The first wrap is green plastic.

The illegal items were stored by the perpetrator in a small cream-colored wallet. This wallet was hidden under the washing machine located in the kitchen.

Chief of Police Tala AKBP Ricky Boy Siallagan, through Sub-District Police Chief Jorong AKP Joko Sulistiyo Sriyono, explained on Wednesday (6/18/20205) that the suspect was arrested on Tuesday evening around 8:30 PM Wita.

The arrest, Joko clearly stated, was based on information from a member of the public whose identity is being kept confidential.

It is reported that drug transactions involving methamphetamine often take place at AR's house. This report was immediately followed up.

Led by Sub-District Police Chief AKP Joko Sulistiyo along with several officers, they immediately moved to the field to conduct an investigation.

Indeed, the officer discovered suspicious activity and immediately stormed into AR's house.

The officer successfully apprehended the suspect (AR). A number of pieces of evidence were also found. Among them were 18 packages of methamphetamine.

"The evidence is acknowledged to be the suspect's property. Furthermore, the suspect and the evidence will be taken to the Jorong Police Station for further legal proceedings," explained Joko.

- 18 packets of drugs suspected to be methamphetamine with a gross weight of 3.21 grams and a net weight of 1.23 grams

- 3 white transparent plastic zip lock bags

- 1 blue handphone unit

- 1 green plastic bag

- 1 black plastic bag

- 1 small wallet in cream color

- 1 unit tas ransel anak warna merah
