Al Ghazali's Wedding Reception, Ahmad Dhani: On My Pelaminan and Maia Estianty, There is No Mulan Jameela

JAKARTA, The Shiro Corp Ahmad Dhani confirmed that only he and his ex-wife, Maia Estianty, will accompany Al Ghazali at the altar during the wedding reception of his son to Alyssa Daguise.

The leader of Dewa 19 emphasized that there will be no presence of Mulan Jameela, his current wife, in the sitting session on the altar.

"At the wedding altar, it's me and Maia Estianty, there is no Mulan Jameela, no Irwan Mussry. Hopefully Maia agrees," Dhani said when he was approached at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Senayan, Tuesday (6/17/2025).

The wedding ceremony of Al Ghazali and Alyssa Daguise will reach its peak on Thursday, June 19, 2025, with the Ngunduh Mantu event held at JCC.

During that important moment, Dhani will stand alongside Maia to accompany their eldest son.

Dhani revealed that he has discussed with Irwan Mussry, Maia Estianty's husband, about the seating arrangement on the wedding dais.

Irwan, who was in the United States, was said to give his blessing to the decision.

"I already said yesterday, I've discussed this with Irwan Mussry. Irwan is going to America, but he hopes Maia will come on the 19th," Dhani explained.

According to Dhani, the desire for him and Maia to sit together at the wedding altar comes from Al Ghazali himself.

Even had conveyed that hope directly to his mother.

"Al has discussed it with Maia. This offer came from me and was approved by Irwan Mussry. And this is what Al Ghazali hopes for," said Dhani.

Maia Estianty was also present during Al Ghazali's siraman and wedding ceremony, showing her support for her firstborn child's marriage to Alyssa.
